Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (DOMP) to join our integrative, patient-centered clinic. The successful candidate will provide hands-on osteopathic manual therapy focused on restoring structure, mobility, nervous system balance, and overall function.
Our clinic blends manual therapy, nervous system regulation, and advanced wellness technologies within a collaborative, ethical, and evidence-informed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform osteopathic manual assessments and treatments using hands-on techniques
- Develop individualized treatment plans addressing musculoskeletal, visceral, cranial, and nervous system function
- Maintain accurate clinical charting and treatment notes
- Educate clients on posture, movement, and self-care strategies
- Collaborate respectfully with RMTs, acupuncturists, reflexologists, and other practitioners
- Maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards at all times
- Adhere to clinic policies, infection control, and client confidentiality requirements
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
- Graduate of a recognized Osteopathic Manual Practice program
- Education must meet or be eligible for:
- Canadian Osteopathic Association (COA) standards
- (or equivalent provincial osteopathic association)
- Eligible for professional liability insurance
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Strong hands-on assessment and manual therapy skills
- Excellent communication and client-centered care approach
Preferred Qualifications
- Active COA membership (or eligibility in progress)
- Experience working in integrative or multidisciplinary clinics
- Additional training in nervous system regulation, chronic pain, or trauma-informed care
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team model
